INVITATION TO BID: "C" DOCK EXPANSION PROJECT

BID TABULATION, DECEMBER 22, 2009

The Notice of Intent to Award the "C" Dock Expansion Project to Bellingham Marine Industries was approved by the Port of Hood River Board of Commissioners at a Special Meeting on December 29, 2009.

The Port of Hood River is requesting bids for the "C" Dock Expansion Project located at the Port of Hood River Marina at River mile 169.0 along the Columbia River. Related work includes Design Build manufacture and installation of 20 boat slips, served by full utilities and a low freeboard light watercraft dock alternate bid item. The docks shall be secured to existing piling. The contract is for a public work project subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. This is a prevailing wage job subject to Oregon prevailing wage rates.

A complete solicitation document, including scope of work, sample contract, and design specifications will be available beginning Monday, December 7. Documents may be examined during normal business hours at the Port office located at 1000 E. Port Marina Drive, Hood River, Oregon; or by calling the Port at (541) 386-1645. Documents are also posted on the links below. Bidders are not required to be pre-qualified under ORS 279C.430.

Bids must be addressed to Michael McElwee, Executive Director, Port of Hood River. Bids must be received by 2:00 p.m. on the 22nd day of December at the Port office or by mail to 1000 E. Port Marina Drive, Hood River, Oregon 97031. Bids will not be accepted after 2:00 p.m. on December 22. Bids will be publicly opened in the Port office immediately following the bid deadline.
