INVITATION TO BID: CASCADIA BREWING TENANT IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

The Port of Hood River is requesting bids for construction of an approximately 5,600-square foot tenant improvement for Cascadia Brewing within the eastern portion of the existing Halyard Building shell, 707 Portway Avenue, Hood River OR at the Port of Hood River, according to Drawings and Specifications prepared by Group Mackenzie. These improvements include construction of demising walls, interior walls, restrooms, stairs, mechanical, electrical, utility extensions, ceiling framing, concrete removal and replacement, and other improvements required to create a brewery with tasting room. The contract is for a public work project subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. This is a prevailing wage job subject to Oregon prevailing wage rates.

A complete solicitation document, including scope of work, sample contract, and design specifications will be available beginning Monday, December 12, 2011. Documents may be examined during normal business hours at the Port office located at 1000 E. Port Marina Drive, Hood River, Oregon; or by calling the Port at (541) 386-1645. Documents are also posted on the links below. Bidders are not required to be pre-qualified under ORS 279C.430.

Bids must be addressed to Michael McElwee, Executive Director, Port of Hood River. UPDATE: Bids must be received by 2:00 p.m. on the 12th day of January, 2012, at the Port office or by mail to 1000 E. Port Marina Drive, Hood River, Oregon 97031. Bids will not be accepted after 2:00 p.m. on January 12, 2012. Bids will be publicly opened in the Port office immediately following the bid deadline. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 11 a.m. December 21 at Halyard Building, 707 Portway Avenue, Hood River OR 97031. This is located on the Hood River Waterfront, off Interstate 84 Exit 63.
