INVITATION TO BID: PUMPOUT/DUMP STATION PROJECT

The Port of Hood River is requesting bids for the replacement of an existing boating waste collection system located on a concrete float at the Hood River Marina. The project primarily involves utility work (water, electric & sewer). Work includes replacement of the utility lines (water and sewer) from the bulkhead, down gangway, along the float to the Owner furnished pumpout/dump station unit. Work also includes securely mounting the Owner provided pumpout and dump station units to concrete float deck with epoxy style anchor bolts, and make up required electrical connections.
The contract is for a public work project subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870.
A complete solicitation document, including scope of work, sample contract, and design specifications, may be examined during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Port office starting Monday, March 8, 2010 until Tuesday, March 23, 2010:

Bids must be addressed to Michael McElwee, Executive Director, Port of Hood River. Bids must be received by March 24, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Port office or by mail to 1000 E. Port Marina Drive Hood River, Oregon 97031. Bids will not be received after: 2:00 PM on March 24, 2010. Bids will be publicly opened in the Port office immediately following the bid deadline
