Hiring Waterfront Coordinator

Hood River, Ore. (May 29, 2025) -  The Port of Hood River is seeking a motivated, community-focused professional to join us as a Waterfront Coordinator. This transitional role is part of our succession plan and provides a structured path for gaining the institutional knowledge needed to eventually manage our waterfront and marina. You’ll take charge of key projects like overseeing the Port Foundation, maintaining records, researching funding opportunities, and supporting efforts toward financial sustainability. Building strong relationships with community partners and waterfront users is also a key part of the role.

While you’ll take on important responsibilities, formal management authority begins only after successfully moving into the Waterfront Manager position. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the stewardship and future success of a vital community asset.
