Waterfront 2025– Quick Updates from the Port

Hello Waterfront Folks,

It’s that time again — things are ramping up fast on the Waterfront! 🏄‍♀️🚣‍♂️🤸‍♀️Whooohooo!  Here are some quick updates to help you get ready for the season:

🚗 Parking Info

  • No cash, no kiosks — use Pay-by-Text or Flowbird App.
  • 2025 Season Passes- available online or at the Port Office.
    • Regular Vehicles (20' and under): $225
    • Overlength (RVs, trailers, buses, large Sprinter vans): $350 
  • Marina Boat Ramp-only pass: $125
  • New "Value Pass": $125 Valid for regular length vehicles to park in Lot #1 or Marina Green Gravel Lot.

      🚫No overlength vehicles at The Hook, Jensen West, or The Spit.

  • CGW2 Gear Swap: 5/25 Lot #1 (~500 people)
  • CGW2 Gear Swap: 7/5 Lot #1 (~500 people)
  • KB4C "Crest & Conquer": 7/11–7/13 @ Event Site (~500 people)
  • Gorge Downwind Champs: 7/14–7/19 @ Waterfront Park (~1000 people)
  • Pfriem 13th Anniversary Party: 8/2 @ Waterfront Park (~1000 people)
  • Latino Festival: 8/10 @ Waterfront Park (~1000 people)
  • CGW2 Gear Swap: 8/31 Lot #1 (~500 people)
  • AWSI Trade Show: 9/3-9/5 @ Event Site (~500 people)
  • Pfriem Oktoberfest: 9/20 @ Waterfront Park (~1000 people)
  • Hops Fest: 10/4 @ Event Site (~4,000 people)
  • Harvest Fest: 10/10–10/12 @ Event Site (~10,000 people)
  • Columbia Gorge Marathon: 10/19 @ Event Site (~2,500 people)

🛠 Waterfront Operations

  • Hiring Now: Seasonal Facility Workers — Apply Here
  • Restrooms: Target reopening June 15 (Port-a-Potties available).
  • Parking Enforcement & Towing: Payment or Passes required in all Port Pay-to-Park Zones — stay in marked spots!
  • Security: Hood River Security patrols continue.

🚧 Bridge Project Update

  • Construction on the new Hood River-White Salmon Bridge was targeted to start October 2026 has been delayed.  The HRWSBA is pursuing another round of federal funding to proactively address rising costs on the project.
