Due to ongoing fire activity and increased traffic, overnight parking is allowed tonight in Port parking lots. We encourage everyone to stay safe and get off the roads if you don’t need to travel. Free overnight parking is available to help ease congestion and provide a safe place to rest. Please stay alert, follow official updates, and take care of one another.

We have received reports that I-84 is closed between Hood River and The Dalles due to fire activity. As a result, we are anticipating heavy traffic on the Hood River-White Salmon Bridge.

Motorists should expect possible delays and are encouraged to plan accordingly. Please drive with caution and stay alert to changing conditions.
