Hood River, Ore. (April 29, 2025) – The Port of Hood River is pleased to announce that annual deck welding repairs on the Hood River-White Salmon Interstate Bridge have been completed ahead of schedule, wrapping up earlier than anticipated after just over a week of work.

A big thank-you to Bulldog Welders & Specialties, LLC for their skilled and efficient work in completing this essential maintenance safely and ahead of plan.

The single-lane closures are now lifted, and the bridge has returned to normal operations. The Port appreciates the public’s patience and caution during this necessary project to maintain the safety and structural integrity of the bridge.
